Saleh Mohamed

  • PhD Student Computing Science
  • Saleh is a PhD student investigating automatic generation of run-time infrastructure for Internet of Things.

Saleh received his BSc (Hons) in Computing Science (Security and Resilience) from Newcastle University in 2013. In 2014 he received his MSc in Cloud Computing from the same University. Saleh is currently a PhD student at EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cloud Computing for Big Dataat Newcastle University under the supervision of Dr. Nigel Thomas, Dr. Matthew Forshaw and Dr. Sarah Heaps.

Saleh’s project will investigate how an optimised, high-level, declarative description of a computation on streaming data can be used to automatically generate a distributed run-time infrastructure for Internet of Things to meet energy, performance, security, cost and Quality of Service standards.

Research interests: automatic generation of run-time infrastructure for Internet of Things, real time data analysis, reactive systems.
