Lauren is a PhD student at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cloud Computing for Big Data. Lauren studied at Newcastle University and completed an undergraduate masters degree in Mathematics. Her current research aims to warn and prevent people with type 2 diabetes from hyperglycemia through time series analysis of glucose and accelerometer data.
Her PhD topic title is: Real-time monitoring and forecasting of time series.
